Chapters

Why create a Chapter?

All pilgrims must walk within the chapter registered in to maintain the order during the pilgrimage

It is not possible for anyone to be registered in the pilgrimage expect to register through a chapter. A chapter needs to be created first in order for anyone to begin registration.

How to create a Chapter?

Each chapter should have a “Chapter Leader”. The Chapter leader will be responsible for creating a Chapter by communicating with the pilgrimage organisers, must familiarise themselves to the pilgrimage general information and regulations, and make sure that pilgrims within their chapter are informed of the general information and follow the regulations of the pilgrimage.

A Chapter must have a Chapter name – ideally a title of Our Lady, for example: Our Lady of Evesham.

Ideally, a priest should be walking in each chapter to provide meditations, a prayerful pilgrimage and confessions. Daily Mass will be provided for all pilgrims.

Once a Chapter has been created, adults and families can begin registration and select the Chapter they will be part of.

Would like to join the pilgrimage but unable to create a Chapter?

If this is your first time joining a pilgrimage like this, not familiar with the concept of Chapters and/or unable to form a group to create a Chapter due to not meeting the minimum numbers of pilgrims within a Chapter, for UK pilgrim(s) less than the minimum number of pilgrims to create a chapter, a Chapter – Our Lady of Evesham already exists and can proceed to registration, choosing Our Lady of Evesham as the Chapter in the registration form and you are more than welcome to join this Chapter.

Otherwise, both for UK and foreign pilgrim(s), feel free to get in touch with us and we can try to assign you to a Chapter to walk with, especially for foreign pilgrim(s) less than the minimum number of pilgrims to create a Chapter.
